Eh… I had this whole rant about how we listen to “EXPERTS” tell us how/what/when/why and all about raising children and that we shouldn’t listen to anyone. I deleted it. I’m not going to be like them.

You know what? Just pay attention. You’re going to screw up something, I guarantee it. But if you’re honest with yourself (and your kid) you’ll work it out just fine. Trust me. I’ve been through it all. …well, if not all, a much larger chunk of crap than most parents.

And for you parents who are sending their kids off to school for the first time, my advice? Don’t blink.
